gelling is certainly not a winger , IMO King should be given the opportunity to see what he can offer, as he is an out and out winger .

Some of us don't have the salary cap "flexibility" to sign ready made superstars all the time. You wouldn't know anything about this, but some of us actually spend time developing raw talent.

How often did Raynor come inside looking for work? How many men did it take to put him down?

I can't believe I am even answering this! I am not saying Gelling was superb but he showed enough signs with his footwork, strength and pace to show that he could be a top player.

I see him at centre long term but I am not sure whether he can defend there. Centre is the hardest position to defence in terms of positioning your body.

I thought the kid did ok , his aggressive running will probs make him a decent centre long term. It was quite hostile at POR last night and he coped a lot better than most of he cas players did.
As for raynor , this lad is and always has been a quality player and if gelling becomes half he player then he will do alright

I think the atmosphere and totally alien conditions must be taken in to consideration when evaluating his performance. He got robbed for the first try and was unlucky to not grab a couple of try's. I thought he looked for loads of work and would guess he'll be amongst our top metre makers in the game.

He's raw in defence but he'll get there. I thought he had a really positive night last night in a difficult environment.

Never a winger in memory of man, want to see him given a chance inside but apparently needs alot of work in defence.

When Josh Charnley first broke into the first team he was all over the place in defence. Remember Josh and Joel in defence, they were a nightmare!
Now Josh and Goulding looked really secure defensively.
That's due to the coaches sticking with Charnley.
I'm sure if they stick with Gelling he will come good in not too long a period of time. How many first team games has he played now? Three, Four?

As long as he didn't poop all over the changing room, he's going in the right direction.

He's proving to be a class act with a huge work rate, you can really tell hes enthusiastic and wants to play. He's certainly making the most of Pat's unfortunate injury I hope he keeps playing like this because he could develop into a sensational player.

He needs to be more direct and back himself when going for the line, it cost him a couple of tries last week and almost cost him a couple tonight.
