Er, I was told from a referee that he was instructed from the RFL at one game to 'try and keep the score down'. Hence my rather suspicious opinions regarding refereeing...

seems to be alot of people knee jerking here. i was under the impression carney was one of the more highly rated on the sky team then one admittedly bizarre performance makes him the worst person since hitler.

I normally rate Carney on his commentary but was surprised he stuck with no try view for Tommy but as long he doesn't start being controversial for the sake of it (after all that's what they do in the media!) and has a reasonable argument I wont have a problem with him. Now what really angers me is the stupid, useless margin meter! Quite happy as long as that doesn't reappear.
