They have been in the news over the years as they can temporary blind someone and have been known to when pilots are landing planes, which obviously is a jailing offence.

He was targeted as well as Charnley. If you watch just as Charnley kicks the light hits Silverwood's face and he jerks his head and moves like he's swatting a fly.

Police don't view laser pens lightly - as someone else has said, aircraft and helicopters (especially police helicopters) are regularly targeted - that's a hugely serious offence, though I don't think they'll see tonight's little events quite as seriously.

I think the person responsible was turfed out by Rovers fans near him.

As i understand it he was handed over to the stewards by other FEV fans and ejected from the ground. A life ban will follow i hope.

As a fev fan I must apologise for the laser pen incident, I didnt see who did it but it came from a group of young kids who I informed that if it came out again I'd shove it up there ass , not defending the youths but I don't think people realise how dangerous they can be , my views are that they should not be up for sale anywhere , it seems ludicrous you can pick these items up pretty much anywhere......

Fev fans took care of the culprits, I don't think they'll return in a while.
It is not acceptable and isn't something that normally happens so i suspect they only turned out because it was a big game.
As Rovers 83 has said, if they do get in and try it again the laser will end up shining where the sun doesn't if you get the drift.
