Quote: Geoff "We were made very welcome by the different sets of Hull fans we were chatting to before and after the game, though we got away well before the coaches left, so didn't know anything about the bricking allegations/comments till getting back and reading about them online. All the ones we talked with were just whinging about their own team's performances and prospects. Everywhere has their share of morons, unfortunately.'"
Thanks Geoff, I'll take that on board. The annoying thing is that at Grand Finals and CC finals and elsewhere I've met lots of Hull fans over the years and haven't had any problems, in fact when we were in the doldrums we seemed to have a lot in common with them and I've had lots of friendly chats with FC fans a long way from Humberside, but my perception has always been that the idiots don't travel. My experience of going to the Boulevard was based on a number of visits in the 90s when the behaviour of a small but significant minority of their fans was just shocking. I had hoped the new stadium would mean things would improve, but the stories I've heard since then haven't inspired confidence.
