RIP Keith. My favourite memory of keith was at the jjb after radz scored in the last second against bradford. We were one point behind with faz still to kick the goal. Keith was waving his arms about at the fans trying to shut us up so faz could concentrate. An absolute legend of the Wigan club. I know the term legend gets branded about loads but there is no other word to describe Keith for his work on and off the pitch.

I agree entirely. Legend is an overused term, often for a player who has a few good games in a relatively short career. Guys like Keith who have served the Club for most of their life, deserve the tag of legend.
Rather than a minutes silence, which can so easily be ruined by an ill behaved idiot, he deserves a minutes round of applause as an appreciation (to celebrate his life, more than mourn his passing)

A committed servant of the club for many years and in a variety of different roles. I too hope he is remembered in a special way by the club.

As the title says a true club legend. So sorry to hear this. Didn't know him personally but felt like he did he's been around so long. Condolences to friends and family.

People like Keith are rare indeed. Always helpful, friendly and amiable and willing to put his hand to anything to help the club. A true gent and great servant to Wigan who will be sadly missed. RIP Keith.

Struggled to write something, although I can't claim to be a close friend I've known the guy for as long as I care to remember. His relatively few games played for the first team are perhaps explained by our classic back row around that time - Ashurst, Robinson, Laughton. When I saw the title I knew who it would be, and perhaps that is the best epitaph, think of Billy, Eric, Ellery, Dean, Keith in the context of Wigan and you instantly know who the person is without the need for a second name.
