Quote anmills1982uk="anmills1982uk"RIP Keith. My favourite memory of keith was at the jjb after radz scored in the last second against bradford. We were one point behind with faz still to kick the goal. Keith was waving his arms about at the fans trying to shut us up so faz could concentrate. An absolute legend of the Wigan club. I know the term legend gets branded about loads but there is no other word to describe Keith for his work on and off the pitch.'"
I agree entirely. Legend is an overused term, often for a player who has a few good games in a relatively short career. Guys like Keith who have served the Club for most of their life, deserve the tag of legend.
Rather than a minutes silence, which can so easily be ruined by an ill behaved idiot, he deserves a minutes round of applause as an appreciation (to celebrate his life, more than mourn his passing)
