GARETH Ellis has agreed to join Hull FC on a three-year deal when he returns to Super League next season.
The 30-year-old second row left Leeds in 2008 and has been Wests Tigers player of the year in all his seasons in the NRL.
Having worked with FC coach Peter Gentle in their time at Wests, Ellis says the move to the Black and Whites is a logical one.
“I believe the club can be anything it wants to be,” said Ellis.
“I was lucky to have a few clubs interested, but I’ve been listening to Hull and to the ambition they have got and the prospects they’re trying to put in place for the future and the bottom line for me was that it was a great time to be involved with Hull.”
