| I am with the rest of you. Mr Lenagan if you are reading this, then sign Finch up sooner rather than later, and dont keep us waiting this time we dont want him to sign for anyone else.

| Guys like Mellor and Powell if good enough will break through regardless of who's infront of them. They will get opportunities this season to stake a claim and it's up to them how they grasp them.
Wigan can't afford to sit round waiting for these guys to develop to the required level. We need to look after the team first and foremost and if that means re-signing Finch and bringing in a replacement for Leuluai then so be it.
Most sides play with 2 halfbacks and 2 hookers in their 17's anyway and we still wouldn't be loaded with experience blocking these lads paths even if we did have Finch, Dureau and McIlorum here next year.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

+1. Not good enough for Saints, definitely not good enough for us.

| Ive heard it all this week about Finchy from hes too slow to hes the best stand off out there at the moment
My own view is he is currently adapting to wanes style of play but still remains a superb ball player with a fantastic rugby brain, although not the quickest of players, over a short distance he will be very effective, it would be a great deal if Wigan can keep hold of him as his experience will be vital for for the young kids coming through as well as his experience in the first team.
I hope we can keep hold of him
