I cannot believe some of the blinkered opinions on here. Bridge's attack was one of the most disgusting acts I've seen on a RL field, and that includes Boyd on Brohman, Newton on Long, Morley on McCormack and the Cassidy response.

Saying he didn't hit the head isn't the point. The point is that he dropped, from a standing position, attacked with what can only be construed as clear intent. That to me is a clear and lengthy ban. Especially on the back of the shenanigans against Huddersfield.

Watkins impressed me tonight - one of the few players, along with Burrow, who did.

What was especially pleasing was when Wiggy Wire Fan said it was Atikins's big opp to prove that he should have been selected. Talk about 'come the hour disappear the man'. Watkins won it hands down.

As a wire fan pains me to do so but I agree. Perhaps hands down is stretching it a bit, edged it though.
