I actually thought that was disgraceful. In no other sport on Earth would a grandstand finish like that have been ruined by some root and branch examination of the final score, the aim of which was clearly to find anything it could in order to disallow it. It's happening too often in Super League these days, but I suppose as long as we have a complete idiot in charge of the referees, answerable, it seems, to no-one at all, it will go on. For God's sake, someone get rid of Cummins, and import some common sense into the judiciary, along with the message "hey fellas, it isn't about you!"
As for the comments on this thread - and on the Saints board, interestingly - about Jamie Foster, very timely I would say. A classic example of someone Eddie and Stevo have talked up ludicrously over the last few years (and have done no favours to in the process). In reality, yet another of these plastikit Saints wingers that they've produced so often in past decades - Sean Day, Danny Arnold, Steve McCormack, etc - who all look great on the edge of a winning team, but who when it gets tough are found to be pretty crap.
