First things first, i want to put on record that i don't agree with clubs charging away fans more money than home fans for an equivalent view, and before making my mind up one way or the other on whether i think hull should change their policy, i do have one question. is this the pricing policy for the whole season, or just a couple of games.

one more thing, just to play devils advocate, how many huddersfield fans were given free tickets for the wigan game, i know quite a few wigan fans got free tickets... is that fair?

That's still a more restrictive policy than Hull, given that the Huddersfield fans had to know a Wigan season ticket holder who hadn't already claimed a free ticket, whereas away fans at Hull can simply buy a cheaper ticket for the stand at the opposite end of the ground... requires no friends who are Hull season ticket holders.

Are we seriously comparing giving away a FREE ticket to charging MORE for essentially the SAME ticket?

I bet there where plenty of Wigan fan's who didn't know season ticket holders and paid full price aswell though. I still don't see how the 2 are comparable. When Wigan start doing this kind of thing every week then you could have a point.


In reality what has happened at Hull is they have decided they want cheaper tickets to get more home fans in one stand... and to compensate they are ripping off the away fans with higher ticket, food and drink prices...

I've not been to Hull for a few years now because of their rip off prices.
