A 'elite' clique that despite me not really noing any of the members I was made to feel very welcome by all involved on there coach last week and in the crowd with them

I don't understand why this has carried on so long. Somebody who was nothing to do with the group spraypainted something.... what can we do? We will police it better in future and that puts an end to it in my opinion.

If you don't like what we do or the way we do it then ignore us, don't post on this thread, don't look at us and don't join in, that is your choice. We are not making anyone join us or sing songs, or wave a flag.

Added to that I refuse to let the group be tarnished with the same brush as one idiot. The judgemental stereotypes on this thread say more about the people writing those posts then the people they are attempting to describe.

I've read the entire thread. And it's pointless.

If people are in disagreement with the group, don't get involved; but don't start criticizing hard work done by others.

I don't think there is anything uneducated about peoples dislike of this term at all. If people attach yourselves with such a tainted term, they should expect their fair share of stick.

Merely pointing out that i was expressing my opinion, and not speaking for others, or expecting others to speak on my behalf.

What if people like all the hard work that they are doing and the great atmosphere they create at games yet have one or two issues they like to discuss? That seems to have been the case for a few people on this thread, including myself.

Surely it isn't a case of you're either with them or against them?

We've always had open meetings. On here and I believe the other site and we have invited fans to come and discuss anything that they are uncomfortable with, or can help us with. We are not a clique, far from it.

So please at next meeting come along and raise your concerns, the more the merrier. But we do need help even if it's only preventing what happened last night happening again.

I wasn't having a dig at you or anyone, I'm just saying all this probably isn't the most productive way to resolve any issues.

I completely understand what your saying but a 10 page thread starting the way it did, looks to give the group a bad name.

If you want to discuss any issues your probably best contacting one of the members.

I've seen the same S2 black logo on the back of a bus which had been obviously been sprayed on using a template. I hope this is just a one off as we (as a club) don't want to be associated with the moron(s) who are spraying graffiti all over the place

We're not here to protect the brigantes from anyone. It's up to them to fight their own battles and set the record straight regarding this issue and any misconceptions.
