| I made, albeit crude, a pirate's flag incorporating the Wigan badge when I was working as an engineer in the merchant navy in the late 90's (it was for a laugh at the time), therefore my flag predates both Saints and Wigan's. Winner!!! 
Sadly it blew away five minutes after it's creation into the Indian ocean. But it's still there somewhere representing Wigan from 200 fathoms. |

This is daft. Not one of us thinks we were the first to introduce flags to a stadium; neither do we think we were the first to sell pin badges or form an ultras group. The fact we seem to be getting accused of this is quite funny really.
