Here's something for you to consider, maybe, just maybe all this was actually done before he agreed his new deal and was part of the contract. Sam can play in a few of these games to boost his income outside the salary cap, allowing us to be able to afford to keep him at Wigan.

All this is, is desperation by the RFU to add some credibility to the event and possibly even England RU. Tomkins would gain exposure and up his market value (assuming he continues to perform as he has been doing) and maybe yourselves will get a bit of publicity. However it's all geared towards the RFU and Tomkins so I'd say no. I have no interest in our sport joining with RU either from an ethical point of view or from one of developing relations/talent between the sports. We are different games and their's lacks the attractiveness of our's.

Let them flail around in mud like the pigs in [iAnimal Farm[/i for eternity every spring during their home nations competition because the NRL is coming to dominate it all in the southern hemisphere. We don't need them. Your own club has a far greater history than the RFU ever will have and we don't need such subservience.
