'From Hawera To Wigan' the autobiography of Wigan and New Zealand star Graeme West is out now, available from Waterstones in Wigan, and rlRLFANS.com Shoprl
The book will officially be launched on 23rd November at 6.30pm at Wigan St Judes club, all welcome. Guest speakers to be confirmed.
Graeme will also be doing a book signing on the 26th November at Waterstones in Wigan.

Was heavily involved in the 'Knights of Central Park' scheme back in the mid/late 80's IIRC. (My dad was a member of this scheme). Does anyone know what this involved?

Yes.
Basically you paid a monthly amount to Wigan. For this you got a few benefits such as:
1. Monthly prize draw
2. Preferential ticket purchases
3. Social odds and sods etc
Oh and not forgetting the very exclusive car stickers
