It is quite unbelievable what has gone on there. Sale are the last club that I would want to have anything to do with.

They're no 'saracens'.... that's for sure.

A lot of Warrington fans idolise Peter Deakin because of his brief spell as Chief Exec.
However this is the direction he was taking Warrington in - moving together with Sale Sharks. We could easily have been ground sharing or more.

Mind you Sale would have been optimistic, hoping to get some good players from us back then It might have put union off league players for life.
