Just so you all know im actually a fev fan and mr neutral is what friends call me because i have a fairly unbiased opinion on the game. So this post isnt because its warrington that have finished top just an opinion ive held for a long time

The hardest thing to do is to finish top over the course of 8/9 months therefore it should be rewarded with the biggest prize.

Its a rip off to think we all pay £200 plus on season tickets to watch games that don't matter.

Exactly. They might as well just have an 8 team league and have a 4 week play-off series, then have 11 months off season.

the thing is every player, coach and spectator knows every year what is the goal- to win the grand final! You ask every warrington player what they would have prefered to win the grand final or the league leaders shield, the league leaders shield means nothing, 27 games are qualifiers for the playoffs, warrington qualified for the playoffs in first place but fell short when it mattered, get over it!
