| Latics have had two new strips every season since joining the Premier League. Don't think they've sold that many though

Exactly whoever keeps tryna say theres rules about kit changes hasnt got a clue. Personally I prefer new kits getting released every year in football and rugby. Apart from England RU who released 9 new kits in under 3 years! 4 home all 4 look more or less the same 2 of them are actually the same shirt just 1 with no sponsor and RWC badge same with black away kit they also had a purple kit I think they wore once maybe twice at most then a grey away that last about 8 months! But getting back to Wigan will we be going to black for away this season??

| I would assume that the rules are null and void in the prem nowadays as even though most some teams keep a kit and change it to their third kit, most change each year, some teams, for example chelsea and fulham have both had 3 kits each for the past two years and they have both been updated this season, no sign of any of last years shirts. But as someone already pointed out, you do not have to buy it just because the club release it. I love buying my warrington and united shirts and tend to set aside money for when they come out so i can buy the new releases, then if i decided i dont like the kit i have some money to treat the mrs or myself with. win/win i suppose.

Agreed. I'd love the away to be the same as the home but blue rather than cherry.

I still don't understand why we have had so many black kits in recent years!

Didn't IL say at the fans forum they're trying to avoid blue kits as they don't sell well?

| No.
He just pointed out that this year's pink kit had sold vastly more than the blue one, which was surprising to quite a few of us who thought that the pink would have put people off and pushed them toward the away top.
