As somebody who grew up watching Wigan pick up trophy after trophy (including being present at the 89 Final), if you had showed me that in 1995 I would have taken it. Records are always there to be broken and one day a team (not necessarily Saints) will match and beat Wigans record. Strange things happen in sport and yes enjoy your "FIOS" gimmick if you need to. I'm quite happy with Saints progress and yes I'm disappointed with another Grand Final defeat, however the future is certainly exciting for St Helens RLFC.

Of course.
At anything like our best we'd have walked it as well as would Wire. They both played like they'd left a lot of energy in last weeks games.
To be fair it actually made for an entertaining spectacle in the end after a scrappy first 30 minutes. |

100% agree RG, All I wanted for Christmas was an O/T appearance, with of course a win but would rather been there and lost than not been there at all. |
