You make a really good point that all other SL teams should take note of.

There's a difference in fatigue when fighting for fifth, or fighting for first. Wigan could have had 6 games where they played u16s just to rest up for the play offs and finished on the same points as Leeds if they'd wanted. Then they'd have been rested for the PO's.
