According to the Wigan hater that is Gary Schofield. The Wigan table at the MOS awards dinner didn't clap Rangi as he collected the award. Now of course Gary wasn't there to see it for himself, but rather he was told it by two journos.

I'm pleased for Rangi in winning it, although I think Monoghan should have been in the short list ahead of him, and I lost all respect for MOS awards after the Trent incident.

Sam Tomkins has replied to Big Fatty saying he'd like to know which 2 journo's said that.
I presume young Sam doesn't agree.

Congratulations Sam. You came in the top three of a secret poll of over 300 of your fellow professionals.
Surely if his fellow professionals thought he was a 'niggly' player or was a player that 'gets on players wicks' then he would not have even made the top three.
For what its worth i have yet to see anyone give any concrete examples of what Sam does differently to all the other players, to get on players wicks or what can be classed as niggly tactics.

A video of the awards clearly shows him standing up and clapping... Not expecting the bitter man to apologise after it being him who spread the rumours though!...
This man will never be taken seriously in rugby league. I know people moan about the likes of Phil Clarke.... But jesus wept. I never see Schofield saying anything positive about rugby league. |

Sam won it by a landslide , Roby a distant second , no player has done what he has this season , a threat everytime he has the ball , cant help think the RFL has done it to punish him for the two finger incident , cant remember a payer having such a standout season .
Chase had a very good season aswell , but MOS no chance, a few catalan players have had equaly as good of season as chase
