I think I have worked him out tbh. When the team is doing well, he does well. Stick him in a winning team and he is a very effective player. However, when the team is doing badly, then he has a shocker.
Perhaps he tries too hard to make up for the team, and in doing so gives away silly penalties. One thing is for sure, he is not a great talker, and sometimes the team needs one. i.e. Sunday.
Sad to say it but on Sunday he reverted to the Lockers of old imo. Stupid tackles that could have been penalised more, lack of direction to the team. At times we looked absolutely lost. No-one had a clue what they were supposed to be doing.
I have said many times this season that Lockers has massively improved under Madge. This point remains, but so does my initial point on this post.
