Quote: Jimmy Birts Lives On "The whole of the South Stand was catching onto 'Cherry and White' after just a few renditions by the 50 or so singing it in S2.
Nothing to stop the East singing anything they wanted at anytime to try and lift the crowd and players.'"
Just thought that the whole idea of the Brigantes all being together in the South Stand was to create more of an atmosphere that's all. I heard a few clapping along to the new song, but most didn't understand what it was about and the only time noise could be heard was when the usual songs were sung.
Atmosphere was poor on Sunday for a derby game.
