Terrible news. I just hope that someone tried First Aid prior to the paramedics arriving.

First Aid is relatively easy to learn and more people should volunteer to learn these life saving skills.

The stewards were there within seconds, then the St John's Ambulance Crew before finally the paramedics. Shook me up a bit to be honest and it seemed it left that section of the South Stand a bit subdued thereafter.

I saw this from the East Stand and at the time I said to my mate it didn't look good. Scared me a bit when I saw him being carried away. Terrible news!

started what ended to be a very sureal evening. The wife & I were in ASDA and although we love winning, it just didnt feel like a win tonight. Regardless of whether you knew him or not, he was one of our own, turned up to watch the game, and snatched from his seat at the final hour.

Really feel for his family... it's just madness... If people beleive in spirits, garauntee the guy held on and watched the gam.

as he actually died? i got told off a few stewards he as but then got told he come through but was touch and go? im still trying to find out if he has died or not anyone got any LATEST news?

It's happened a fair few times in the South Stand!... Knew whatever it was it would be bad when they put over the tannoy for people outside to move for an emergency ambulance that would be arriving.

Hardly surprising.

Sad news especially if you are right and he was with his Grandson. Although he won't be thinking of it now I hope the pair of them were at Wembley for the cup final and the Grandson will have happy memories of watching RL with his Granddad.

Blimey...that's terrible! Condolences to his family...hope he didn't have youngsters with him!..that's not something you want young kids to see!

i am sure i speak for all supporters by offering my sympathy to the chap who had heart attack tonight. we have won the league tonight but pales into insignificance. Once again my deepest sympathy.
