| From the hour mark onwards today, you couldn't help but notice and applaud the dedication of the fans sticking together and showing the lads what it really means to be a true fan.
Often down the years, I've taken comfort in the fact than when we were getting grotesquely pasted by a superior team, "at least we kept the chant going".
Today, it was great that evryone kept the chant going.
It really was.

| Because the 'noise' just carries on, it eliminates crowd banter, 'you're sh*t' redresses the balance

| it was THAT good..I had forgotten the tune by the time I had got home....didn't forget the result though...or the way we totally outplayed you ALL OVER the park....that WAS memorable....
enjoy your little sing song though...I thought it was some sort of special mantra that you need to employ to stop you walking off??? To be fair it worked for most of you...Guess those that did leave early forgot to attend the special needs workshop?

More loyal fans and support getting behind your team ala Wire, Saints etc etc.
You're not actually real Brigantes you know, just [sizeblokes with mortgages from Wigan[/size
Catchy tune though yes, i actually joined in !'"
If you say so

I will look to the moment, and miraculously, the future will take care of itself.
Radio 5 Live, Sat, April 14th, 2007,...Dave Whelan, "In Wigan, rugby will always be king"
'I was certain, positive, convinced, and yet..........unsure'
'It's only rock 'n' roll, but I like it'

Yes, lets have something more creative, what about 10 mins of " Barmy Army, barmy army, barmy army " , now THATS a song !!!!!

| I love this. Wigan fans get accused of leaving early everytime they lose. It gets mentioned all the time and even the sky pundits feel the need to focus on it and mention it repeatedly (haven't heard that for a while, guess we haven't been losing so much ) and is known as the Wigan walk. Yesterday we were well beaten, it was apparent we weren't going to win the game for a long time before the final whistle went, yet the majority of Wigan fans chose to stay and sing, make the best of a bad situation and have a bit of fun as well as support the team to the end. We are now being ridiculed for not being fickle, not walking out early and supporting the team, you just couldn't make it up.
