My take on it, and I'm probably in the minority here:
Did he make contact with Harrisons face? Yes
Was it foul play? Yes
If he had made contact with say Harrisons shoulder and held him down in the way he was trying to do, would he have been penalised for that offence? Yes.
Was it an intentional or premeditated gouge? No.
Is there a huge over reaction on this thread and a band wagon to be jumped on? Yes

If this was at another club then you would get max 2-3 pages on it. Wigan and this will run until the next game. |

Not at all..I dont honestly know how Ryan Bailey gets away with some of the things he does and can totally understand when other players take it in their own hands to sort him out and Ive been a Leeds supporter since 1986. Noboby is superior but things can easily get out of hand especially when the Rfl are so weak.There would be a lot worse bans for all things if we had the same system as the NRL,which I think would be a very good thing. |

Turn it in mate...IF it was Graham at Saints...Bailey for Rhinos .....Mason for Hudds...Westwood for Wire...Lauraki(?)..for Hull.....it would be the same..Dont start with the NO ONE LIKES US BECAUSE WE@RE WINNING CR@P...it was bang out of order,shown on live tv,was a headline game and was an offence which hasnt been seen for years..thank god.. |

well, most of the 12 game ban idiots on here are not wigan fans and just go completely over the top at anything someone in cherry and white does, as some sensible bloke said was it pre meditated? no it wasn't did it happen yes but probably not deliberate.
he will still get a ban for it and an extra game for the punch, i'll go for 3 games.
