39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| The best skill was say was the offload from Hock. That shows why he could be a world-class player. He couldn't see Richards and he had 3 men on him and he put Richards straight through a gap.
Hock made no mistakes last night, he put in a performance which I dreamed he would put in before his ban. If he carries on he will only get better. I can't wait to see him after a full pre-season.
As for the rugby we played, AWESOME.
That was without our 3 best props in Fielden, Mossop and Coley and without our main playmaker in Finch.
I think last nights performance was a result of people trying to earn a place for next week. Similar to the 80s and 90s.... players had to play well to keep their place.
If we want this team to dominate then we need that competition.
FINALLY.... 11 players who came through our academy played last night.

Should we win at Wembley, I woulds expect something like the following
Couldn't agree more.
Everything we've seen from this regime suggests that. If we do lose and play poorly, I certainly won't accept ''well we had a Cup Final last week'' as an excuse for a half d effort.

| I think the players will be up for it at wire as they know any half baked performances from them and MM will most likely drop them for the playoffs and a grand final appearance if we make it

aboveusonlypie...
If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| If we are to replicate the culture from our glory days then we need to back up important wins after a final, such as in 1987:
Beat Manly on the Wednesday eveving to become World Club Champions for the first time, then played Wire off the park 28-16 on the Sunday afternoon in the Lancs Cup Final at Knowsley Road.
