A tip for anyone wanting to take Flags into Wembley. I used to get a fairly decent sized one in complete with sticks, using dowling type canes 1mtr long I would roll 4 of them up in the flag, then when at my seat join them together using a couple of suitably sized coper pipe joints. It worked for eight years!! Just need to see if I can find the flag now its tucked away in the garage or attic somewhere!
Hand painted "WIGAN TWINNED WITH WEMBLEY" made a few TV appearances!

Without being a killjoy, can we try and keep this thread to people who have comments on designs/flags or have ideas for flags that they want help designing but that they actually intend to paint, or any questions on the process, or people posting pictures of designs they are going to make or have made? I'm happy to help people design flags but it takes a lot of time to paint a flag (spent about 12 hours painting the Brigantes one). I'm sure Lou will agree that you don't need any artistic talent, just patience and time! Thanks
