Good luck, I hope you enjoy your day as much as I enjoyed mine in 2009 and 2010! It's a magical place, much better than the old wembley with a great view of the pitch from anywhere in the stadium. Make sure the trophy stays west of the pennines please! Am I now allowed to say "it's only a tin pot trophy anyway" like you lot have been saying for the last 2 years? Lol.
First final was in 84 when Joe Lydon tore us apart that much that we bought him! Been to all Wigans finals since then and went to the Saints / Catalan game cuz we bought tickets before the semi!
I'd still rather win the league and GF but Wembley is still the best showpiece event and deffo the best day out.
Unfortunately I'll be in Spain so I'll miss my first Wigan final for 27 years!
Flights home for the day are just a bit too expensive but I've looked. My wife's face was a picture!!
