Can't believe this. It was announced at the wakefield game for the friday. Football fixtures were announced about a month ago why has it took so long to rearrange it.

It's the hypocrisy that is the most galling thing. We're ok to play 24hrs after them but they're not ok to play 24hrs after us. Also, could you imagine the furore if they had to move one of their games for us?

"Wigan Athletic have had to move their game from Saturday to Sunday as Wigan Warriors are playing Crusaders on Friday." Mark Lawrenson would explode!

The FA knew we where at home on the Friday and still pencilled the Shatics game for Saturday. They are a bunch of Nazi's and the FA should have thought on and played it Sunday.

Sky or ESPN could have moved the Latics game. Sky could have moved the Wigan game. Now that neither one is happening the change to Sunday has been announced.

well annoyed about this,
got friends traveling from all over the country, hotels booked etc for friday night, and now they change it, terrible terrible timing here.
how is it different having them play less than 24 hours before us, we can still turn an ankle on a divet those idiots kick out of the ground.

As owners of the ground they can do what they want. PL rules also state in a fixture clash, Latics must take preference.
