| Robinson left twice once to Aus but we bought it out and then to RU, Hampson and Gill were not as good either. McDermott lasted no time and went to Leeds and Wane wasnt a first teamer really.

| Next flag should be Phil Clarke's big grinning face with "RUGBY GOD" written below in my opinion, just to off the rest of rugby league.

Sorry, I meant to put M. Dermott not Barrie.
Gill was a cult hero and Dallas never achieved the same adulation from the crowd as Hendy did.

Only because of the time for me. He was part of the team that brought us back to glory years. Dallas was class and played outside some very, very poor centres.

| Here's a few to consider before Dallas,............. Joe Egan, captained Wigan to C.Cup win in 1948, 2 Championship wins, 362 apps, later returned as coach from 1956 to 1961, playing a key part in the clubs renaissance. Ernie Ashcroft, 530 apps, 241 tries from 1942-1958 (loyalty ?), considered by many as one of the finest centres to play for Wigan. Brian Nordgren 294 apps, 312 tries (more than 1 every game), 4 Championships, C.Cup 1951. George Fairbairn, 207 apps, 594 goals, won the Man of Steel award in a team that got relegated as player/coach in 1980 !!. Dean Bell, 7 C. Cups, 3 as captain, 253 apps, 105 tries, Man of Steel 1992, he even appeared on 'This Is Your Life' in 1993. Lets look at a couple of 'lesser' known (by most on here) wing men, Gordon Ratcliffe, 212 apps, 185 tries, 2 Wembley apps, Championship winner in 1946, GB tourist in 1950 and once scored 7 tries in a match. Trevor Lake, 140 apps, 132 tries including a memorable one at Wembley in 1965. This is not including the likes of Bill Ashurst, Dave Bolton, Ken Gee, Martin Ryan, Tommy Bradshaw, Graeme West, Shaun Edwards, Andy Gregory, none of which have a flag in their honour, now, I'm not doubting the ability and courage of Brett Dallas, or his record, (177 apps, 107 tries, C.Cup winner), but IMO, he is quite a way down the 'pecking order' when choosing who to put on a flag.
