Not sure why this, if true, is causing so much bemusement. As has already been said if the article had been about Rads or Faz it would have been broadly treated as a wise decision but their coaching experience is possibly even more limited than Sculthorpe's.
IL doesn't seem to do anything without having full possession of all the facts and while he's not flawless he hasn't done much wrong IMO since he took over. It'll take some getting used to having a player I hated on our staff but then I suppose I wouldn't have hated him if he'd been bobbins. If nothing else at least he's home grown. I'm getting a little tired of seeing Australians (not all, I grant you) pack their bags early as soon as a decent offer comes in from the NRL.

Andy Wilson writes a great set of six blog each week. His latest one includes a drool over Sam Tomkins. But I have forgiven him that error since he was also kind enough to be appreciative of Lomax.  |

They weren't. Hoffman pulled a Cats player away as he was laying on in the tackle on Sam Tomkins. It was in the 79th minute. There was some pushing and shoving from a couple of players on either side but no punches were throw.
Catalan were give the penalty. |

A rookie head coach with a rookie assistant doesn't seem a particularly wise choice to me. In the current set-up at least Madge had a long apprenticeship under a coaching guru in Bellamy and Waney was a coach of the youth and reserve teams, the same can't be said if it is a Wane/Sculthorpe partnership.
I expect there might be another surprise to come out soon.
