Would love it if Edwards came back..... must be assistant to Wane though if its gonna happen. We need to be doing the same things that Maguire brought in.

If he comes back as Wanes' Number 2 that would be superb! I still think Wane should get it though, he's earned it!

Seems unlikely for such a successful coach but at the end of the day Wane has earned it and if they work like a joint power rather than a 1 and 2 after a couple years it could really pay off and who knows Edwards and Wane could end up coaching a recreation of what Edwards managed as a player (8 in a row of course)

Would love a pairing of Edwards and Wane but can't see it. Can't even see Edwards EVER coming back to RL.

I'm trying not to get too carried away as the article is from The Sun newspaper and offers no direct quotes despite the fact it is written in a way which suggests it's the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

It seems a bit funny that a few weeks ago the same newspaper reported that Shaun Edwards had signed a new 2 year deal in Union. The article including quotes from the man himself too.

Can't see him swapping first team coach to assistant coach. Doesn't make sense. Must be on a good screw in union with the welsh assistant job too. If he does come back it's got be as head coach!

It does say as first team coach, not head coach.

Maybe just maybe we will have a double act of wane and edwards next year, supported by deacon and rads, with bitcon and hampo looking after the fitness and conditioning side of things
