I've never been as cold in my life as Odsall this Feb! 15000 in the stadium and you could hear a pin drop cos everyone was frozen!

52674_1285275725.jpg [size=50:2fqgwsdo]"The mid-to-late 1980s and early-to-mid-1990s is the most successful period for the club to date, however, even without this glorious trophy laden period, Wigan would still have won more trophies than any other professional British rugby league club due to their successes throughout the club's history."[/size:2fqgwsdo]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_52674.jpg |

| It was brassic. I felt sorry for the in goal judge who couldn't run about to keep warm, but had on a short sleeved top and shorts on. It must have took him days to thaw out.
It was cold, but Watersheddings in the middle of winter takes some beating for coldness. In fact, this summer rugby lark is turning us all soft, Bradford in Feb would have been seen as quite mild back in the day.
The coldest match I ever saw was a night match at New Craven Park, it had only been open a year or two. The wind just ripped in of the North Sea and it was colder than an Eskimos pecker.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know
