Personally I'd sooner sent Roberts back to Aus, sooner have the cap space. Goulding for me isn't good enough even on the wing let alone the centre.

The biggest error i think we made is releasing liam colbon and signing amos.

Colbon had more passion that amos has ever shown ....

problem is there arnt many decent centres available better than what we have.

Ben Pomeroy would be my number 1 target (although he does have a conviction to his name so this could affect his ability to get a visa) or make an enquiry about Hopoate of Manly. In my opinion we cannot lose 2 centres in quick succession so we need to recruit to replace Gleeson, with a promotion to replace Carmont at the end of this year or at a push retain him for 1 more year and bring his successor through rotating the 2 in 2012.

I wonder whether Iain Thornley has ever thought "if only I'd stayed". He'd have certainly been given the chance after Martin's departure.

To be fair to the lad I don't keep much of an eye on RU. So he could have pulling up trees for Sale for all I know. But had he stayed I'm quite sure he'd have seen a fair bit of first team action.
