The only new player last year and look what happened. I'm not saying he made all the difference but I think he's our most important player. Look at Hull KR without Dobson. If Deacon had played for England in the 4 nations I think the scoreboards would have been quite different.

Roberts' effort and general contribution was awful against Leeds, hence him being dropped from the squad without a mention - a clear sign he was simply dropped.

Has to show the right attitude first in the U20's. Can accept a player playing badly but not a player lacking effort.

Sam at 6, Deacon at 7, Tommy at 9. Roberts (gets some backbone back) and slots in at 1. Finch warming the bench please and swap with Deacon. Fingers crossed that everyone turns up and we put in a decent performance. Get Finch on for the last 15 minutes of the half to see how he goes. If he is still ropey (then he warms the bench again)

No Mickey Mac / Interchange Hooker

I don't think Tommy could hook for 80 mins to a high quality. Should definitely be changed with Tommy there to keep them both fresh.
I've played hooker before, and its tough getting to almost every play in the whole game without a break and still playing at your best.
