I was at both them games and don't remember to much booing of the players but do remember though after the defeat at Saints that the Wigan End still had a huge number of fans after the final whistle. chanting Loyal Supporters etc..

I was there too!! And you are quite correct!

The only time I can remember a boo at the 75-0 game was when Mo's mug came on the big screen.

Why they went for him the first place is the biggest mystery to me. His credentials are extremely poor. I very much doubt he was the best of the applicants to apply for the Saints job, yet somehow he got it. Still he's doing a cracking job for mine.

The only thing I can think is that Stains wanted an Australian Assistant coach to take over a Super League Team (wonder where they got that idea from). As they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I think some people are jumping the gun a bit. Saints didn't look so bad against us on the opening day, did they?! Then they thrashed Salford, and lost narrowly to a very good Wolves team.

OK, they've limped a bit since then, with an unconvincing win against Catalans, and the loss last night to Quins (when they were very poor by all reports), but I can't see them playing like that every week, can you? They've still got some of the best players in SL, and if they can get Eastmond firing again (or someone else for that matter), then they'll still be challengers. Don't forget they've still got Roby - who may not give the team the pyschological boost that Cunningham did, but he's still easily the best hooker in SL (and was last year too).

Don't get me wrong, I won't be shedding any tears if they do fall apart - it's just that that's not what's happening - not yet anyway. This could easily turn out just to be a blip.
