Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Right you are. Any other die hard mancs have no got rid of their season ticket because of the glazers. Even the top tier of the stretford end is now full of day trippers and foreigners. Thats the route football is heading appart from the away fans. |

I know of one guy (Irish) who has a section of thirty plus seats up in the top tier. Every fortnight a different thirty Irish people sit in these seats. The guy who organises it is seen 2-3 times throughout the season.
In addition to the season ticket you pay for, it's compulsory for you to sign up to the cup games (they actually deduct the cash from your account). Each European match has costed my mates £50-60+ and for each round they progress to, they add an additional fiver to the amount deducted. |

Manchester is a city in North West England. It has a population of 460,000 and doesn't include Stretford. Or Salford.
If you mean Manchester United started life as Newton Heath (which is in Manchester) I know that.
When they moved out of Manchester and into Stretford they changed their name.
