You have the king of cheap shots in Ryan Bailey. He'll give it out to our small lads like Goulding and Sam, but he wont go near Lima or Joel etc.
Just like last year in that game away at Hull FC, Bailey got a bit back of a big lad and we didnt see him again for the rest of the game. |

Not one single Wigan player was charged (never mind banned) during the whole of last season because of any of the "wrestling" tactics people are whinging about - chicken wing, choke or grapple.

But can you give examples of these dubious ways? Please list the offences Wigan made last season that other teams didn't make. If being 'rougher, tougher and more skilful' (quote Waney) is an offence then it is a sad day for rugby league.
Lima did wrong and is paying the price. Wigan haven't appealed thus suggesting that the club doesn't condone his actions. In fact I don't recall a single appeal last year from the club... just dignified silence. But some clubs won't know much about that will they? |
