A few years ago Wish got a new boss and he scrapped all the local sport because "People in Wigan don't want to listen to local teams they would rather hear about Manchester United and Arsenal".
Well that was his first mistake, Craig Beck, who used to be a DJ at the station left a few years ago and he has now returned and he wants to bring back local sport to the stations and he is close to getting reporters for Wigan and Saints games. Also he is hoping to being back the Friday night rugby slot.

Screw em. They didnt want to know when Latics were promoted and we were going through our poor spell (even though we still had averages of 15-16k) and many thousands more listening to Radio Manc.
Now we are Champions they are crawling back. Scumbags.
