Not impressed by either but I think the home is slightly favourable to the away.

I dont think the club are doing themselves any favours by not releasing the new training wear before Christmas either...

Such a shame. Two bloody awful Wigan shirts for next year. Add Bradford, Hull KR and Hudds to that list also. It's only Salford who've got a decent design out of Kooga for next season.

I've tweeted my thoughts to @WiganWarriorsRL then wished them a Merry Xmas.

I asked them to let IL know but I'm not holding my breath for a response!

I'll stand by my guns and state that I still like the home kit, but this is a shocker IMO. Never buy kits anyway, or if I do it's at the end of the season when you can get them cheap, I suspect these 2 will become cheaper sooner rather than later though.

But i think its actually WAY better than the home kit (though thats not saying much).
Xmas 2010 is definitely looking a bit bleak on the usually reliable Wigan prezzies front........

The home was beginning to grow on me but I cant see this away shirt ever growing on me.

I get the feeling KooGa are stuck in the mid '90s and think they design football shirts...

Oh Noes, looks like Wigan's away record will be poor this year. All the players will have huge waists and un-accentuated shoulders! At least the home record will be good due to the amazing design aesthetics of the home shirt:



I'm not sure what Wigan did to p*ss off Kooga, but I wouldn't be doing it again! The blame doesn't solely rely on Kooga though, the club must have the final yey or ney as to whether a shirt design is approved.

Positives:

Blue and white (the only away colours Wigan should wear imo)
Inititally not as off-putting as the home kit



Negatives:

That "W" - if we ever find out it stands for "Warriors" I will be in need of the sick bucket (wouldn't be so bad if it was a "plain" W, without the lightning effects.


I am afraid the club have messed up on this one. No doubt they will soon be telling us how it is a "top seller" on their website. They must think we are stupid.

I know of a few, myself included, from the other thread on the home shirt that were waiting for this to decide whether they get the home shirt or not so I think there may be a rise in home shirt sales now tbh.
