The mid week game is a poor deal.
When we or Cas get to the next weekend game against a team that hasn't played mid week a win seems a very tough ask.
One way of resolving it is to play Cas at home mid week and then play them again the following weekend at Cas.
That way it will be the same for both teams and both will be in the same condition (roughly) as regards fatigue and injuries.
I know playing a team both home and away within week is an odd one but it does make it even for both clubs.

Rumour has it that Bradford may put on a pre match 'Monster truck show' to get folk through the door.

Speaking negatively, as obviously I'd hope we'll go the distance to Wembley, but if we and Cas are both knocked out of the CC early, I'd have thought it'd make sense to play the re-arranged fixture on one of the weekends reserved for CC games. Certainly better than having to back up with a mid-week game.

I have read somewhere today that the club will decide this week when the castleford game will be played, dont think they can take a chance by hoping we both go out the CC early so will be a midweek game.

But the new format of the CC means there's only 2 rounds before July.

It's a massive leap to suggest both Wigan and Cas will go out in the 1st round to free up the fixture before the last third of the season.

Im surprised nobody has picked up on the early start on Easter Monday at noon meaning people will be going the game in a bad state from the night before or just other fans who will have to set off before 10am for a fixture which is in wakefield.

Highlights for me

My thoughts exactly. It's all good!

I'm glad of that because they are yet another club who have made the Friday Night switch this year but because Easter falls the week before we aren't doing. We'll all be playing on Friday Nights soon, which is a shame and a pain but we started it I suppose. Can't be too selfish because I'd hate to return to Sunday Home Games.
