If Man U finish 3rd in their Champions League Group the only game being play at the DW on the 27th Feb will be Latics v Man U. Until it's clear which European competition Man U are playing the midweek before (if any), there's no point saying anything, otherwise we may have to change the date or venue which would be embarrassing.

Not for me to say. All I'll say is if your wanting to sit in the middle of the East/West Stands it'll cost far, far more than normal because this is an RFL event not a normal Wigan matchday.

We had this conversation today, as its a RFL event it will more than likely be test match prices. The winner will receive a cash prize as well as the trophy. All that will come from the match day revenue and sponsorship. Wigan RLFC wont make a single penny other than winning/loosing pay even though it is to be played at the DW stadium. IIRC it cost £20 to sit in the South Stand for the last test match played there.

North and South stands will be packed then, I just hope people are willing to pay 30-40 to sit along the sides.

I guess we took around 35-40k to the grand final so you would hope people would pay the same or a little more to come to a bigger game closer to home!
