Wigan for me everytime.

I'm a Wiganer first and English/British second.

Not saying its necessarily right but its Just the way it is for me.Nothing could have made me prouder than seeing us regain the title a fortnight ago.(except maybe a World Club Championship win to go with it) icon_smile.gif

In many ways this is the problem in a nutshell for Great Britain. We simply don't have a rival on our doorsteps that we can have a meaningful rivalry with. The attempts to get the France team to be this have failed as any kind of spectacle and we only play the Aussies or Kiwis now as part of larger tournaments hence no specific rivalry for fans to get their teeth into.

At club level the entire spectacle of the game is built on just such rivalries hence it flourishes.

Best thing that we could do for international rugby league would be to sell it to a terrestrial TV channel with a view to creating a competitor for the six nations. Games at weekend, in the afternoon at a ground that we can fill...
