I reckon they could be.
How have they sold so many so soon? When did theirs go on sale?
Would they count people with season tickets in their attendances even if they don't attend?

not sold that many yet they have only reached that number plus a couple of hundred more pledges so that they would know it was worth rolling them out at that price.
I think they start selling them in the next couple of weeks, as it was said on their forum they now have to turn those pledges into sales. if i have been following the story right.
good effort by them though hope some of this increased support translates into more away support from them.

| Cheap Season Tickets are a false economy, look at Huddersfield at the beginning of last season with their big announcement - £100 season ticket, their average attendance increased to 7,908 from the season prior - 7,820 (A massive 88 extra ST's sold), that must have lost them a fortune!! Not sure if they continued the deal this season but their average decreased to 7,386
So despite their performances improving their support has stalled.
Now with Bradford they will probably average around 12k next season with their £60 season ticket, but they again will lose a fortune despite increasing their support by 4k.
The argument may be that supporters are buying on the ground, not necessarily so though.
Think about it, all these Bradford speccies shelling out £60 to keep the club going, a vast section of these fans will think 'hell it was only £60 I'm going to pick and choose my games'.
To keep their support of 12k in 2012, the club will need to be successful on the field in 2011 if not then Bradford will either have to repeat the deal (can't see that, the hole in the ground that is Odsal will see to that), or suffer the dip in support again.
Either way, Bullmania is dead and the club are suffering a "Wigan-esque Post Central Park" bleak period which will last a decade probably.

| The thing is, if you only pay £60 for the whole season, you can afford to not go to a fair few onf the games.

Which then means you're less likely to renew when the prices are bumped up the following season...
(Online renewals should be available now by the way if anyone fancies claiming the honour of being the first to buy!)

| Just a question about purchasing new season tickets online - will it be possible to specify the actual seat number you want?

That might not necessarily affect the gate though. Uusally, it's tickets issued which forms the attendance instead of who actually turns up.
