If he had shown a little common sense, he could have come out of this with a little credit, even if he didn't want to keep his medal.

How about if he had walked over to a Saints youngster (who would obviously have been upset at the loss) and passed it to them.
The youngster cheers up a little that his hero has given them the medal and the local press put together a little story about how the kid is made up....etc.

Nah the stewards were next to every row preventing people from getting out the rows while the players were up and down the steps so i couldn't get to it...

the nearest steward headed towards it though
then with shouting at various Stains players i didn't notice if he got it/where he took it

Complete arrogance from the ... losers medal? Im sure the sides that can not challenge the big four would love to be in a GF and would treasure a runners up medal.
