Im hoping to get on the train @ Hindley station, if the train is full @ Wigan will it stop @ Hindley or just travel through?'"
[train rant] In my (considerable) experience, it will stop, someone sat down halfway along the carriage will decide it's their destination and there will then be an interesting few minutes whereby someone has to hold the doors open whilst said person becomes intimate with everyone else as they battle their way, usually with a good few Primark bags, through. If you're into groping and unwelcome flesh contact, it'll be just up your street.
Other than that, yes it will stop and if it's full it'll just stay there for a minute or two to tease you when you blatantly can't get on (don't believe this though, you can always find a way!), the guard will get angry with everyone who isn't moving down and then it'll shut the doors and be on its way. To be honest you might as well get a train from Hindley to Wigan, get on at Wallgate and then go back. Or get a 12-seater 'Disco Jeep'. [/train rant]
