Any Wigan supporters in Madrid for the Grand Final? I'm a Saints fan but it makes life easier to get a bar to put the game on if there is a few people rather than 2 or 3.

Hey it's bitterly cold in Madrid in the Autumn and Winter months.

The wind blows down from the Valderrama mountains and cuts your flesh to ribbons.

I was there last about 10 years ago. My lips were ripped raggy by the cold wind, had to use loads of lip balm.

Went to Madrid on 26th Oct last year and it was 27C, shorts and t-shirt weather

Try Dubliners Irish Tavern not far from the square at Sol. They show British sports and will put on the rugby if there's no obvious sporting clash.

You'll be much better off calling in maybe the day before to check.
The only Spanish football games on that night are Real Sociedad v Espanyol, 7:00 and Valencia v Athletic Bilbao, 9:00 so I don't think there'll be any problems as long as they have more than one television feed.
