Pimbletts were nice at one time, then they went downhill drastically. Wasn't too sad to see the back of them. Don't know if anybody has seen 'Pimmies pies', made by the former bakery staff. Completely different again.

Wigan beats St. Helens every time in the pie-making steaks. (apart from Burchalls but pork pies don't count

)

Whittles steak pies, from the top of 'Tunny' lane in Pem took some beating. Sadly now gone and is operating as a Galloways (which aren't bad).
