I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

Re Clarkson, we rave about him because he's come from nowhere this year to almost securing his spot in the 17 when fit. Good meters, willing to play out of position when requested (on the wing in 2 matches iirc) But ATEOD he's a loose and until Sinfield makes way, he'll have to ply his trade in the second row where he has taken his chance fantastically. Averaging 25-30 tackles a match is superb, for anyone, especially a kid who has told the likes of Ian Kirke to shift aside.'"
Fair play maybe I was a little harsh. Although I'm guessing by the time Sinfield retires his spot will be taken by Ward. Now that kid does look good.

| Just appears to be getting better game by game. Does anyone think he will struggle to keep his place next year with Hoffman coming in, Mossop back and possibly Hock coming in added to Hansen?
Hard to drop him on this form, but you haveto assume that Hoffman will be first choice, then any one from 4, unless Hock is going to play prop / go to Penrith.

It's up to Hock to prove he's as good as he was - 18 months out of competitive sport won't be good ofr him and it'll take a while for him to get back up to match speed.
Think with Hoffman, Mossop, Hansen and Farrell to start the season in 2011 we'll be fine and then if Hock is upto the task then he'll get his chance too. Would hate to see someone get a game on the basis of them being a big name though.

Well, Madge has already shown that he won't select players just because they're "big names".

| Farrells preformences should have earned him a spot on the 17 at the start of next year imo and it's up to guys like Mossop ad then hopefully Hock to try and take that from him. The thing that has struck me from day one about Farrell is how comfortable he's looked playing first team. He plays like a veteran and it's hard to get your head round the fact that he's a 20yr old kids in his first season.
If a State of Origin and Australian international came over for huge money and put in preformences like Farrell has we'd all be made up. If Hoffman can reach a higher standard then Farrell has then we're onto a winner.
