There was an International between NZ and Eng where TL played 9 for the Kiwis. Not sure if it wasn't the world cup. 1st 20 mins Tommy ripped Eng apart which put the Kiwis on the front foot and they won the game.
TL says he prefers playing 9. Mcguire thinks he'll make a good 9, also along with Kearney & Wayne Bennett who played him at 9.
I think we should all give Tommy a chance at 9 where he will play the whole game in one position on the field. For the moment I think I'll give TL the benefit of the doubt over his ability to play 9.'"
